About me

Bringing together research, psychotherapy and practice.

I am a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Political and Security Studies at the University of Szczecin, a psychology student, and a participant in a four-year psychotherapy training programme. I combine an interest in people and social processes with experience gained in international management, procurement and renewable energy.

My academic work focuses on separatism, international security and the Western Balkans, as well as criminology, victimology and security psychology. In my psychotherapy training I work within the integrative-psychodynamic orientation, developing my practice in trauma work through the EMDR method.

Psychotherapy

The person at the centre

I am a participant in a four-year psychotherapy training programme within the integrative-psychodynamic orientation, accredited by the Scientific Section of Psychotherapy and Family Therapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association. I am developing my practice under supervision, using the EMDR method in trauma work.

For me, the most important part of this work is the therapeutic relationship — a space where theory meets another person's history, experience and capacity for change. I do not yet run a practice or see clients.
